The cannabis kitchen is becoming a popular destination for cooks and DIYers of all levels of experience.

#1. Ardent FX

The Ardent FX is a simple and easy-to-use machine that decarboxylates & Infuses cannabis at the press of a button, making it ready to cook with. Its dishwasher safe so cleanup is a breeze and its simple interface allows you to just set it and forget it. I recommend and use this machine HIGHly – please use my code CANNACURIOUS to save $30 off your purchase of Ardent FX at ardentherbal.com.

#2. Cannabis / Hemp Flowers

No matter what you’re cooking up in the cannabis kitchen, you’ll need high-quality cannabis and hemp flowers to get started. Look for organic, safe, and clean products that have been tested and come with a Certificate of Analysis (COA). This will ensure that you’re using trustworthy ingredients that meet your standards. I recommend and order from Dreamland Organics, and organic sun-grown farm run by a couple in Oregon who hand water their small and amazing plants with homemade compost teas. #3. Oil of Your Choice

There are a variety of choices when making your own cannabis-infused oils, but having a quality product on hand can save you time and effort. Pick an oil that agrees with your stomach, taste, budget, and needs. Look for one that is organic and free of additives, preservatives, and fillers. Some great and popular choices that are liquids include olive, avocado, MCT while some more solid fats include butter, ghee, and coconut oil.

#4. A Kitchen Scale

No cannabis kitchen is complete without a scale and measuring tools. Scales are key for weighing out grams of cannabis and measuring ingredients, while measuring tools help you get the perfect ratios for your recipes. While you can get by with a standard kitchen scale, having a scale that goes down to 0.1 grams will give you much more precision in your measurements. As for measuring tools, a set of measuring cups and spoons is all you really need. But if you want to be extra precise, getting a food scale that measures in milliliters (mL) is also a good idea.

#5. Dropper Bottles

Dark glass graduated dropper bottles are a must for the precision dosing of oils and tinctures. You’ll want to get your hands on at least 1 oz (30 ml) bottles, but sizes up to 4 oz (120 ml) can be handy as well. Look for dark glass bottles to protect your precious ingredients from degradation by light – brown or amber glass is best. Be sure to get bottles with a graduated dropper for precise measuring.

Ardent Infusion Press with Strainer.

#6. Ardent Infusion Press / Strainer

No cannabis kitchen is complete without an a way to strain your plant matter out of your tinctures and oils. I like Ardent’s Infusion Press. This simple strainer is designed to strain oil like a coffee French press, and I love that it is dishwasher safe, durable, and re-usable. Cheesecloth or coffee filters can also be used, but straining can be a messy proposition with these tools. A metal mesh Infusion Press strainer is the best way to get a clean, efficient strain.

#7. Spice Jars

Any good cannabis kitchen needs a variety of glass jars or spice containers to store THC, THCA, CBD, CBDA, CBG, and CBGA. You’ll also need a stash of dried herbs, cannabis flowers, and hemp for cooking and baking. Make sure to get airtight containers to keep your ingredients fresh and potent.

The labels come in a variety of colors and the printer has many styles, they even have cute “frames” you can use to make your labels cute, too. Most label makers use thermal transfer technology, which means they don’t require ink or toner. This makes them perfect for use in the cannabis kitchen, where you want to KISS- Keep It Simple, Sweetheart! And because they’re so easy to use, you can labels on everything from jar lids to dropper bottles.

#9. Painter’s Tape

You’ll need this to label your projects as you go, especially if you’re trying out different infusion methods or working with multiple strains of cannabis. Keep track of everything you make with clear labels, so there are no surprises later on!
